Sometimes all it takes is a child, a crazy idea – and a small duck.
That's exactly what's happening right now at Campingplatz Dingdener Heide in Hamminkeln.
There, Theo started wearing a little duck on his bike helmet. He rode it on the pump track – and apparently it didn't take long for the other kids to realize:
"I want a duck like that too!"
Since then, there have been more and more.
It all started with Theo
Theo was the first at the campsite.
Suddenly, a little duck sat on top of his bike helmet.
Just a funny detail, really.
But on a pump track, where many children ride bikes together every day, such things naturally don't go unnoticed for long.
The other children saw Theo's duck – and thought it was cool.
One wanted one too.
Then the next.
And now, you can see more and more bike helmets with little ducks riding along on them at the Dingdener Heide pump track.
Theo's idea turned into a real little campsite trend.
And it's precisely this image that probably explains better than any trend report why the idea is spreading so quickly.
The duck stands out.
